I'm exhausted!! again! what's with that? it's only Tuesday ... I shouldn't be this tired already *sighs*. it's great being busy again, but I could so do without all the exhaustion! we had first aid today, which wasn't particularly exciting. we're doing it through some organisation I've never heard of ... seems a little dodgy! but I guess they know their stuff *shrugs*. and if nothing else, it's reminding me that I do too. you can't really spend over a year in St John without picking up a few basic first aid skills ;). I guess refreshers never hurt though. we've got another day of it tomorrow ... more theory apparently. what fun.
tragically, I missed the bandaging and slings this afternoon. I had to go out and do the defensive driving thing ... rather well timed I think ;). I had to drive an auto for like, the second time in my life though! I've always driven manual (stick?) ... auto is so foreign to me! that was almost more terrifying than having an RACQ driving instructor in the passenger seat studying every little thing I did! very interesting experience! seemed to go okay though ... no big red crosses on the checklist, so that has to be a good sign =).
ohh, I'm so impressed! opened my inbox tonight to discover a heap of exciting mail!! love that! so much better than a page full of forwards! I got an email and photos from a great-aunt in New Zealand who's just been on holidays to Europe and Alaska! and a birthday invite from a friend I haven't seen in ages!! yay! plus a friend of mine has just discovered that her site has been mentioned in TV Week! congrats Steph!! ohh, and a new submission to my webring! and a patch trading request! and I forget what else! heaps! so impressed! unfortunately no time to act on any of them right now though ... not even using my own computer at the moment. will soon though!
anyway, I think I might head to bed. I'm watching Rove, which is as always entertaining! I think Steve Irwin's about to come on, which I pathetically don't want to miss. that guy is entertaining if nothing else! and as soon as it's over, I'm going to sleep! so over being tired!! 'night!
